The municipality sends the notification on real estate tax payment in two ways:
- By sending a printed notification to the declared address of residence or any other stated address for payment notification delivery,
- By sending payment notification to resident’s e-mail.
The municipality recommends using the most convenient and environmentally friendly option: receiving notifications via e-mail.
You can register for payment notifications via e-mail:
- By writing an application to Finance management department:
- By post to: Liepaja city council Finance management department, Rozu Str. 6, Liepaja, LV-3401.
- By submitting it personally in Visitor centre, Rozu Str. 6,
- Electronically, by using e-service “Application to institution” www.latvija.lv,
- Electronically, by using e-service portal www.epakalpojumi.lv, “My real estate tax”.
It is also possible to subscribe to a free notification on real estate tax payment deadline via e-mail or text message (SMS). The reminder will be sent to stated e-mail seven days before the payment deadline, but the text notification (SMS) will be sent on the final day of payment period.
